The sixteen ton ragpile that Sundbø acquired along with a shoddy mill where she makes recycled wool matresses, comforters, and sleeping bags, turned out to be a treasure trove of Nordic knitting history. And this delightful monograph chronicles her exploration of historical knitted garments that were literally "plucked from the ragpile" of these knitted goods.
