WOOL BOOKS

Saueboka, Landsbrukforlaget. Saueboka er forst og fremst ei handbok for praktikeren, men boka passer ogsa for alle med interesse for sau. You need to be able to read Norwegian to enjoy this special sheep book!

Everyday Knitting, Treasures from a Ragpile, Annemor Sundbø This is a delightful history of both Nordic knitting and Norwegian ingenuity. The sixteen ton ragpile that Sundbø acquired along with a shoddy mill where she makes recycled wool matresses, comforters, and sleeping bags, turned out to be a treasure trove of Nordic knitting history. And this delightful monograph chronicles her exploration of historical knitted garments that were literally "plucked from the ragpile" of these knitted goods. You do not have to be a knitter to enjoy this book and the charming stories from Sunbø.
