Knitting: Norway is known for its knitting, and for its NOVI knitting needles, available in a range of metric sizes. (See metric conversions below.) The circular needles have a special angle to promote comfortable knitting, and the double-points include 5 needles. The aluminum needles (metric sizes 2-5.5) have a special anodized finish which will not wear off, no matter how hard you work them! Needles sizes 6 and larger are made of a hard, lightweight synthetic compound.
