Sock Yarns Socks make a great go-anywhere knitting project as well as a treat for your feet. And this soft, 3-ply wool yarn from HIFA is spun especially for socks, mittens and work sweaters. You can even use it for heels and toes in socks you knit from handspun. This wool yarn contains 20% nylon for extra durability and comes in raggs: red, teal or grey, and solids: red, rose, bright blue, navy, light medium or dark grey, and natural or bleached white- plus 3 new colors: black, camel, and olive. Vevgarn This 50/50 blend of Spelsau and domestic wool combines the lightness, luster and strength of Spelsau with the softness of shorter staple wools. A sturdy yarn with a marvelous feel upon washing. Superior for 2-end knitting and "tvibands-troye".
