TOOLS FOR SPINNERS AND KNITTERS

Sock Egg This reproduction of my grandmother's sock egg is perfect for the sock knitter who needs to darn a hole before the sock becomes unsightly or unusable. Darning a sock is easy and quick and certainly is worth the time, especially when you consider the effort you put into the socks you knit. And this egg works on commercially knit socks as well. These are turned on a lathe using maple and black walnut. Instructions for sock darning are included with the egg.
